Missing

Do you ever have the feeling inside yourself that something (but what is it?) is missing? Something you want very much, but can't put a name to. Something that you're waiting for--or that is waiting for you.

I feel like that a lot.

Sometimes, I wish I knew how to make it go away.

I remember hearing somewhere that God places a space in each of us that can only be filled by him. We can search, try to fill it with other things, but we still have a longing, a desire. It can never be filled without him.

By Him or that which He plans for that niche within.

I get a similar thing every once in a while, but I don't feel it as a missing feeling. Mine is more that I feel like something is irrevocably wrong. And when I feel that way it's usually compounded by a feeling that I'll never be able to get it (or anything) right.
