Hasselhoff: the Musical?

Whatever you may think of David Hasselhoff, the guy has to have some kind of a sense of humor. I'm not saying I know what kind, exactly, but first there was that intriguing (to say the least) "Hooked on a Feeling" video, and now this.

First of all, I am officially declaring that you are OBSESSED with David Hasselhoff. Come on, admit it, you looooooooooove him...

And second of all, I wonder if they'll get the voice of KIT to be in the musical... I like that guy!

And third of all, I saw a picture of Mr. Hasselhoff in a magazine (that's right, he's popular everywhere again) and he had a shirt on that said "Don't Hassel the Hoff". Classic. Just writing that makes me chuckle.

i confess NOTHING! well, ok, i'll confess this:

when i was much, much younger (pre-teen), i had a crush on the Hoff, thanks to Knight Rider! and one summer, while staying at my grandmother's house, i made friends with a girl who generously gave me a poster of david to put up on my wall, when she found out i liked him. unfortunately i was never the sort of girl to put up posters of heart-throbs, ever. (i still think it's weird, actually.) so i was a little embarrassed about the poster, and i tried to politely refuse her gift, but she insisted--so i took it home and eventually just threw it away.

but poster or no, i couldn't get enough of Knight Rider! and i love KIT's voice too! "now michael, be careful." "there might be bad guys in the warehouse, michael." "michael, devon's calling you. shall i take a message?" "michael, have you ever considered dating bonnie? because she's a lot better for you than all these other bimbos you seem to fall for. she's smart and fun AND a brunette! why are you so stupid, michael?"

er, sorry. got a little carried away there with the imaginary dialogue.

Did anyone else get a chill down their spine reading the article?

As to Knight Rider, I remember best the Bloom County cartoon:
"And then one day, after eating bad quacamole and Fritos, Binkley woke up with THE TRUTH...."The Truth, Steve, is that Knight Rider is a kid's show." "No way! No %((*$G way!"
