God's Dilemma

So I was driving into work this morning, listening to NPR. A woman was being interviewed about the elections, and she said that she was praying that John McCain would win.

Which puts God in a bit of a stitch, seeing as how I'm praying that McCain will lose. Awkward, isn't it.

Today at work my boss told me about how a vote for anyone but McCain (third party) will just be a vote for Obama. Massachusetts is going to end up overwhelmingly for Obama (I think!); I reminded her of that, but I just laughed to myself at what she would think if she knew I don't want McCain to win.

My roommate and I have been discussing this interesting dilemma between politics and religion since Nov. 4. So many conservatives have been freaking out and saying, "We need to pray for our nation!"

...like we wouldn't need to pray if McCain had won?

well, beth, you probably wouldn't need to as much, seeing as how mccain and palin are christians. whereas obama, as all know by now, is a muslim, so...
