Classic Confusion

Will someone explain to me why my "Chamber Music, Baroque period" Pandora station insists on throwing in music by Mozart (Classical period) and Bela Fleck (contemporary bluegrass/folk)? I mean, don't get me wrong. I like Mozart and Bela Fleck. And OK, at least Mozart is pretty much in the same general ballpark. But it's a little weird to go from, say, Brandenburg Concerto #5: Allegro, to the Clarinet Polka (?!).

Maybe it's just me.

that's the thing about pandora, it's a music discovery radio more than anything, so it won't stay in a musical timeframe like that; rather, it'll look at things musically similar to what you add/thumb up. Just keep thumbing down things that don't fit on your station, and very quickly the layout will fall into line.

Must be there's a dark conspiracy to obliterate the distinctions between musical genres!
